Cyberdome Penelopenxia Alpha

Note: this is an alpha version of the game, and contains bugs, unbalanced/missing content, placeholders and questionable melee combat. BUT I love any and all feedback, please feel free to send it my way!

Cyberdome Penelopenxia is a challenging action RPG where you take on impossible odds, upgrade your abilities, and break through the strongest gatekeepers the Cyberdome has to offer!

How to play: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Starting out, you won't be able to install any upgrades, so you'll need to go in bare handed for a match or two. In the "Cyberdome" menu, you'll see the prologue and practice room, where you can get used to the controls, after that you'll want to head a T1 match.

Complete the objective of a T1 match and you'll unlock the first set of modules. Return to the main menu and go to the "Garage". Here you can customize your "Internals" for improved stats and abilities.

0 cost modules are only for getting the base abilities. To improve your stats you'll need to spend scrap on better modules and power them with [Generator] type modules. 

Extra modules will increase SOME stats regardless of where you put them, but certain stats such as DAMAGE will not go up. (You can remove a module by right-clicking or dropping it outside the grid.)

Fight. Get Modules. Unlock abilities. Fight Again. Glory awaits you in the Cyberdome!

TIPS:

-If you fall down, press jump to get up

-sometimes it's better to bait an enemy to attack before swinging at them

-dodging is good for avoiding strong attacks

-blocking is good if you don't have time to dodge or are caught in the air

-To unlock an ability, the module needs to be in the body part indicated by the symbols in the "Abilities" tree (example: the gun printer needs to be installed in the abdomen)

-You'll want to get a gun as soon as you can, which won't be until you defeat Maxotaur, until then try to improve your Health, Energy and Boost.

Cyberdome Penelopenxia is my first game, but I've been devving it part time (about 15 hours a week) for around 3.5 years now.  

I've learned a lot. I'm glad I've come this far, and hope to take the project farther still.

(really just a wishlist of things I'd like to add, if fate allows)

Improvements to the Tutorial, Story (mostly cutscenes of some kind), More Enemies (and less placeholder models), Music, etc.... 

Some Known Bugs: -------------------------------------------------------------

>Internals editing doesn't work well on controller yet, controller cant advance cutscenes

>camera occasionally has odd behavior when getting up out of ragdoll, when near certain walls and when doing a lot of things at once

>rarely a gladiator may spawn invisible, an Eyebot might get stuck in the ground or a zapbot will forget it's job
